It can be said that it is one of the most visited cities in Spain due to its climate, tourist infrastructure, archaeological heritage, museums and scenic areas. Marbella also has the Sierra de las Nieves National Park behind it.
What you can do in Marbella?
First of all visit the old town of Marbella. You will be impressed by its narrow, ancient alleys. The white houses adorned with balconies coloured by the typical plants of the area. You can also visit the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación, the Town Hall, Plaza de los naranjos etc.
The Alcazaba Wall in the centre of the city. This wall is from the Muslim period and has a Moorish Medina inside.
Visit the Avenida del Mar, one of the most photographed places in Marbella, as it has a sculpture of Salvador Dalí. This avenue leads to the promenade of Marbella.
Between the months of May and October you can enjoy a swim in its beaches. Marbella has 24 beaches although not all of them can be found in the same city. Walking around Marbella you can see, Casablanca beach, Nagueles, Fontanilla, Playa del Faro, Playa de Venos, Playa de Cable.
