Beautiful villages of Granada: Montefrío

After having been named as one of the villages with the most beautiful views in the world by National Geographic, Montefrío has turned into a must-see destination for every tourist who comes to the region. Not only for its prehistoric and islamic remains, but also for its amazing churches, this village is located in the heart of Granada: surrounded by olive groves and crowned by a enormous rock where the church de la Villa presides this unique spot. In addition to this, we consider that the most amazing aspect of this village is the church of La Encarnación: a neoclassical religious building characterized by its strange circular layout (this is the only circular church in Spain), inspired by the Agrippa's Pantheon, in Rome.
