Where to do the shopping on Sunday in the Costa Tropical?
Published:
Dear guest, if you are from countries like the United Kingdom, you will be used to the fact that most supermarkets open on Sundays at least until 4:00 p.m., but in Spain this is not the case.
Specifically on the Costa Tropical, you will only find a few establishments that open on Sundays. Below I detail which establishment they are.
Coviran
It is located in Salobreña, more specifically in Calle Granada 5. It opens every day from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. It is a common supermarket like LIDL or Mercadona where you will find the same products as in those supermarkets. Here is the Google Maps link so you can find it easily: https://www.google.com/maps/place/SUPERMERCADO+COVIRAN/@36.7413155,-3.5868738,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0xd718fe3094895f7:0x6359440308b7c220!8m2!3d36.7413112!4d-3.5846851
Municipal Market of Salobreña
To enjoy traditional shopping the best thing is to visit the Salobreña market, and thus find fresh products.
The Salobreña market is located on Calle Fábrica Nueva. You will find it open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In this market you can make your purchases in the most traditional way, with its fresh products: fishmongers, greengrocers, butchers and bakeries complete a good option to make your purchases.
Petrol stations
Along the Costa Tropical you will find several gas stations: BP, Repsol, CEPSA. These service stations are open every day, usually between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. Inside them you will find products such as bread, sausages, some preserves, drinks etc ... apart from fuel. The biggest drawback of petrol stations is that they have a more expensive product price than conventional supermarkets.
Dear guest, of course if you have any questions regarding the establishments where you can shop that open on Sundays on the Costa Tropical, of course, do not hesitate to contact Grandes Villas. We will be happy to help you.
