Dear guests,
In this post we are going to the capital of our province, Granada, exactly to Sierra Nevada.
Sierra Nevada is one of the places you have to visit if you go to Granada. In this post we are going to talk about the ski resort of Sierra Nevada, because if you visit one of our houses you have to visit it.
The ski resort of Sierra Nevada is located on one of the highest peaks in Spain, the Veleta peak at 3396 metres above sea level. Still in Sierra Nevada there is another higher peak, the Mulhacen.
Most of the people who visit the ski resort of Sierra Nevada are there to ski, which is quite logical but it has to be said. In Sierra Nevada you can find 6 areas for skiing which I will explain below.
Laguna de las Yeguas, Borreguiles, Loma de Dílar, Veleta and Río. It can be said that Sierra Nevada has about 100 kilometres of skiing where there are about 118 slopes. The approximate price of a ski pass is 50 €.
Even if you don't know how to ski, you can visit Sierra Nevada for its magnificent views, for its restaurants, for spending a day in the snow. You can rent sledges and enjoy with your family.
Some of the activities you can do if you are not going to ski are climbing to the Hoya de la Mora, a key place to go sledging. Climbing to the hermitage of the Virgen de las Nieves.
I hope that if you visit some of our houses you will spend a day in Sierra Nevada where you can spend a wonderful day with your family.
