Dear guest, the Tourism Area of the Salobreña City Council completes the offer of guided tours in the municipality including a visit to an ecological farm of subtropical fruits located in the area of Los Matagallares.
The ecological farm is located in the Matagallares area and is owned by Juan Carlos Vinuesa, who has been practicing this type of cultivation for two years. Vinuesa made a guided tour and explained the type of fruits that are grown (avocado, custard apple, guava, mango and banana). He detailed how is the meticulous process of cultivation, pruning, natural compost, ending with a tasting of ecological subtropical fruits that he offered to the participants.
Another visit that can be made to an ecological farm is at the Finca de San Ramón. It is an agrotourism farm that welcomes its visitors and brings them closer to the gastronomic culture of the subtropical fruits of the Costa Tropical. Visitors will be able to enjoy the more than 12 hectares of crops and its unbeatable views of the beautiful Bahía de la Herradura.
